Get to know me better

A 26 year old video editor born and raised in Texas

Ever since I was a little kid, I've loved doing anything creative that I could get my hands on. Whether that was writing short stories, making videos with my friends, or pretending I was a magician on the school playground. Since then, things have gotten a lot more complex but still just as fun! I first got into video editing as a middle schooler, opting to edit videos for my class projects and making fan edits in my free time. Since those first few projects on iMovie, my love for editing has only grown!

After high school, I chose to pursue a film degree at UT Austin, and graduated with honors after four years. While in school, I took on two video editing internships (one cutting movie trailers in LA!) as well as a contract position in order to perfect my craft and get involved in the industry early. Since my graduation in 2020 (yes, that 2020), I've kept myself busy with lots of freelance editing work for nonprofits, as well as full-time video work for Behindthechair.com since 2021. As a creative, I have a lot of skills and interests that span a wide variety of areas! Feel free to ask me more about them, I'd love to share.
